SCHOOLGIRL REPORT #2  (1971)

What we have here is our favorite kind of sleaze fest - one that doesn't worry about a plot, or even a story for that matter. Expect a naked frau or two and some really groovy tunes by Gert Wilden.

LONE WOLF AND CUB: WHITE HEAVEN IN HELL  (1974)
Joe: Another beautifully shot entry in the series but i'm glad it's over, although it didn't really end.

Verson: The non-ending ending suggests that this final entry in the series was not really meant to be final.  Money or perhaps cooler heads called it quits after this over the top but nicely photographed bloodletting.

AMAZING WORLD OF GHOSTS   (1978)

Joe: I wish i'd been stoned...to death.

Verson: Amazingly weird and sometimes amazingly annoying nonsense documentary.  One of a kind, we hope.

SAVAGE WEEKEND    (1976)

Joe: Inept slasher movie but funny all the same. Too bad it was an edited-for-TV print.

Verson: The uncut version of the film would certainly offer more in the tits and gore department but it wouldn't make for a better movie.  Inept in all ways except for William Sanderson in the role of Otis.

Shown April 6th

LONE WOLF AND CUB: THE LAND OF DEMONS  (1974)
VJ: Another beautifully photographed Jap slaughter.

JV: Nice looking and fun enough...still. One more to go.

MASSACRE IN DINOSAUR VALLEY  (1985)

VJ: Mildly entertaining tits and blood show from the mid-80s.  Nothing to write home about, really.

JV: Watchable jungle mayhem that's clearly a product of the eighties.

EL VAMPIRO    (1957)

VJ: Always fun Mexican fog and fangs flick.

JV: I wish i lived in one of these early Mexican vampire movies.

Shown March 2nd

ESPIONAGE IN TANGIERS   (1965)

Verson: Weird to see a gorgeous, widescreen print of this third-tier Eurospy flick but hey, I'll take it!  For a complete review, see The Eurospy Guide.

Joe: Lotsa fun.

THE LOSERS   (1970)
Verson: One of a kind.

Joe: One too many.

PRIVATE COLLECTIONS   (1979)

Verson: Erotic triptych scores with the second story from Japan.  Very strange, yet compelling imagery make it worth a second look.

Joe: The insane Japanese segment is very memorable indeed. The other two were routine but easy to watch.

Shown February 2nd  [@ Bonney Lake]

LONE WOLF AND CUB: BABY CART IN PERIL   (1972)

Joe: This fourth installment is pretty familiar but it's fun enough and it's got a big body count.

Verson:  More Jap slaughter that opens with a topless female killer!

AMAZON JAIL  (1982)
Joe: Pointless and delirious and sleazy and i like it.

Verson:  It's a WIP flick that delivers pretty good.

MOVING VIOLATION   (1976)

Joe: Loads of pg rated fun.

Verson:  Cool car movie with the totally foxy Kay Lenz who gives a glimpse.

Shown January 5th  [@ Kunt]

CITY OF ROTT   (2005)

Verson:  One-joke animated film about a crazy old guy after some slippers in zombietown wears itself thin very quickly.  A stinker.

Joe:  A monotonous cartoon. I felt like I was watching someone play a video game.

IN THE DUST OF STARS   (1976)

Verson:  So "good" it was repeated form the '06 Atrocity Film Festival.  It held up nicely.  Look here for the fest reviews.

Joe:  Even more fun the second time around.

LONE WOLF AND CUB: BABY CART TO HADES   (1972)

Verson:  This particular tale in the bloody saga is exceptionally well-photographed.

Joe:  Lots of violence and flashbacks this time around. Still an entertaining series.
